PTAP ONE

PTAP ONE is Blue Sky’s Floating Production Storage Offloading (FPSO) vessel. PTAP ONE was converted by MODEC in 2001 for installation on the Langsa field in offshore Sumatra, Indonesia, where it remains operating on producing wells.

SOFEC designed and supplied the spread mooring anchor lines and on-vessel chain support and installation equipment for the 35,000 dead weight tonnage FPSO. The ABS-classed, SOFEC spread mooring is an eight leg system in 100 meters water depth.

PTAP ONE is named after and managed by Blue Sky subsidiary PT Arah Prana, an Indonesian company which provides drilling and production services to the oil and gas industry.
