Blue Sky owns a 50% working interest in the Brazos 440 Block. Located in Texas waters, Gulf of Mexico (GOM), it has produced 320 Bcf, with an estimated 150 Bcf remaining. Production took place via 17 wells hooked by pipeline to two platforms, from which the gas was sent to a commercial pipeline.

Blue Sky operated in the Green Canyon (GC) 52, 53, and 184 Blocks. GC184 production was handled by a Tension Leg Platform (TLP) in 550 meters water depth. The blocks were sold in 2010, after Hurricane Ike had damaged the facilities.

Blue Sky is attempting to acquire 3 Blocks in the Mississippi Canyon, where it plans to deploy its MOPU at a water depth of 950 meters (reservoir depth of about 2,400 meters) for production of 20,000 bopd and 60 MMscfd. The prime selected field has proven reserves of 19 MMbbls.
